Laminated maple vintage #4 wood manufactured by Campbell endorsed by Arnold Palmer circa 1975. standard black insert with white border, no screws. Brass sole plate show manufacturer and Palmer signature. Golden Eye is hand carved in basswood and painted in a decorative decoy style with yellow taxidermy grade glass eyes.
Note: Campell started in 1922 as The Canada Golf Ball Company - the first company to manufacture a golf ball entirely in Canada. At the time Campbell was the leader in the manufacture of badminton shuttlecocks. Over time Campbell became the largest sporting goods manufacturing company in Canada
