Persimmon #3 wood manufactured by Cygnat (as best I can find out this was a Scottish manufacturer) circa 1963-1961. Originally marketed under the brand name Black Cygnat. black fibre insert has three horizintal screws. Solid brass soleplate marked Cygnat Professional. Brant head is hand carvedand painted in a decorative decoy style with taxidermy grade brown glass eyes.
