Vintage laminated maple Ginty #7 manufactured by Stan Thompson circa 1973-1976.Traditional shaped red insert, no screws. Unique to the Ginty is the “boat tail” tungstan sole plate - the theory was that the wedge shape would “slide'‘ through the rough for a clean golf shot. Hand carved basswood Mallard head painted in a decorative decoy style with taxidermy grade brown glass eyes. wedge shaped sole plate allows pice to “tip” forward depicting a feeding Mallard.
Note: Ginty clubs are very rare as production runs wee very small. This Driver Duxx is a true collector piece and is truly a ”hole-in-one-of-s-kind” keepsake.
